Custom Projects Custom projects cover a wide variety of recording sessions. Whether you’re an singer, a songwriter, a band member, or someone who wants to do a special recording project, we are here to help you determine what you need, what your many options are, and how to best accomplish your goals. Here are just a few examples of custom projects: Are you an artist and songwriter? Your project may involve recording a master quality CD of your music (4-8 of your best songs) to pitch to record labels for a recording deal. Do you have a band that has a local or regional fanbase? Your project may involve recording a CD of the band’s original music that can be sold at gigs. Are you a songwriter? Your project may involve recording a collection of your songs that you can pitch to publishing companies, as an example of your work, to try and get a publishing deal. Do you work with a church choir? You can record a CD of your choir, singing their favorite music, and use the project to raise money for the church music program. Do you write jingles for TV and/or radio? Your project may involve recording a group of your jingles, editing them together, to pitch to an ad agency. Do you need to record a “book on tape”? We do that, too. Do You Need a Producer? An important thing to consider when recording a custom project... do you need a producer? A producer, like our studio owner, Bob Angello, will handle your project from start to finish. It is the job of the producer to find out what you want, and then develop a plan to help you achieve that end. This includes, and is not limited to, finding you material to record, hiring professional musicians, setting a realistic budget, and guiding the whole creative process with your needs in mind, and communicating these needs to all others involved in the project. With a producer on your team, you can be creative, and the producer brings your ideas to life.
